Vanida Dabrowski
Hello and thank for you wanting to find out more about me and my services!
In Thailand, massage is a part of life. My parents had a masseuse come after a long hard week of life and I could see their rejuvenated states physically and emotionally. In between sessions, my parents made me massage them, pointing out where they wanted to be massaged and how I should do it.
I want to extend this feeling to my clients I started practicing in Ohio when a licensed friend introduced massage therapy to me. There I learned the basics of massage and I could see how much better the clients felt after a session. My formal education in massage therapy started on my next trip to Thailand when I registered at the world-famous Wat Po Traditional Medical School in Bangkok. There I became certified in Thai Traditional Massage and Oil Massage and Aromatherapy. Returning to work, I applied my newfound skills to my clients.
However, I wanted to work on my own, so licensing was the next hurdle. Since English is my second language, I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I was intent on learning what about massage made it physically and emotionally healing.
My husband’s job brought us to the area and I quickly searched for places to study. I found the Academy of Massage and Bodywork where the owner also was not born in the US and understood what would be coming for me. 1 year later I am practicing massage here in Delaware.
Relaxation and forgetting the stresses of every day life is my priority, but the benefits of massage also include better circulation, muscle relaxation, regulation of the nervous system, and immunity system, thus increasing energy on all levels and balancing emotion. In addition, I believe the use of all-natural and/or organic products enhances the experience as well as not introducing any other impurities to the body.
